Resumo: (Production Assistant @ Musica)

The Centre is an organisation with a national and international scope.
The Centre inspires a conscious and adventurous approach to sound and music. Through partner projects, development and education, we strive for a high quality artistic experience for everyone, regardless of age, cultural or social background. The Centre's starting point is the conviction that everyone is musical. Everyone has the natural ability to use sound and music to interact meaningfully with each other and with their surroundings. An active, artistic experience of music is for everyone. We create accessible environments around music and sound, for enthusiasts and professionals alike, with a focus on young audiences.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
● You have technical insight and some knowledge of technical material (audio/lights/video)
● Preferably, you have experience in capturing and editing videos and/or photography.
● You are enthusiastic and have a hands-on mentality.
● You have organisational skills, work effi ciently and are result-driven
● You’re able and willing to do physical work (for ex. loading and unloading a van, construction of decors)
● You are interested in culture, art and music
● Ability to work with children
● You have a positive mentality and a good sense of humor
● You are a team player but can also take independent initiative where necessary
● You are stress resistant and able to deal with unexpected situations
● You are proactive and look for solutions when something is going wrong or needs extra attention
● You are social and empathetic.
● You are prepared to work in a fl exible way and to do occasional evening or weekend work.
● You are fl uent in the English language, both written and spoken
● A driving license (type B) is a great plus

Tarefas: Your tasks as a volunteer depend on your background. In general you can expect to help with the many tasks in the daily operation of the organization. It’s a diverse package with an emphasis on audiovisual production and production assistance in a broad sense. You will join a professional team, from beginning of September 2025 until April 2026, that will guide you in the following tasks:
● production of audiovisual content for different projects (photographing and/or fi lming of activities, post
production of the captured images; photo selections, video-editing, publication on Youtube or other dissemination, archiving of raw images, etc. )

● supporting the production team in various projects (actively helping out at events or during workshops, material
management, technical support, loading & transport of decors, assembly and disassembly of installations/materials).

● support in the maintenance of the sound art installations in ‘Het Klankenbos’, with the guidance of a colleague

● support in the practical preparation of our educational projects on site (e.g. Musicaklassen) and on location (preparation of materials, construction and dismantling of decors, transportation, etc.)

Condições: Accommodation: a studio 10 min. walking distance from the Musica offices, (with a well equipped kitchen, 2p bed, private bathroom, television set. Washing machine & dryer are available at the Musica offices).
