Resumo: (youth)
The Youth Work Center is a subdivision of the culture department of the City Government, which started work 2 May 2018. The aim of the centre is to create an inspiring and innovative youth work environment for the youth for them to grow to be active, creative and happy people.

Numerous elements are used in the Youth Work Center logo that bind into one the following keywords: youngsters, growth, development, protection. The child is stepping under the protective umbrella, waving over their shoulder, and emerging from the other side as taller, more experienced and more confident. The different sized figures indicate both growth as well as the fact that the Youth Work Center works with children of different ages.

The figures are moving in the same direction, which symbolises the progress and growth that the Youth Work Center contributes to. The umbrella symbolises the youth work center and its subdivisions, as it offers youngsters shelter and protection both in the figurative and the literal sense.

The umbrella symbolises, as it establishes a connection to one of the best-known symbols of the city, the sculpture of the kissing students. Under the umbrella, a motif that resembles that of the logo is used in order to match the style of the the Youth Work Center logo with the existing the logo. The pillar also symbolises the main building of the University. The same vertical lines could also be attributed another meaning: the lines are meandering amid the logo, resembling the way river meanders through the city. In this context, the umbrella looks as if the city arch bridge and the two figures marching ahead prove that the river does not divide -– it unifies.
