Resumo: The environmental association was founded on 15 December 2004 with the aim of environmentalpreservation and protection in the area of the town. The fundamental scope of its activity is the promotion ofnatural specific qualities of the town and its surroundings, as well as the source and course of the River.The association's projects have made contribution in creating a positive image by public, civil and private sectors andmedia. Krka Knin has become an equal partner in decision making in relation to the environmental protection andsustainable development. The main target group is the general population of citizens, with a focus on children and youth.

Our main goals are:

• Preservation and protection of nature and the environment
• Encouraging environmental and cultural awareness of citizens, especially young people and children.
• Encouraging organic agriculture and the development of cultural, rural and ecological tourism.
• Encouragement and development of civil society.
• Improving the quality of life, development of society andencouraging development processes in the local community.
• Promotion and development of volunteerism.
• Promotion and development of democratic political culture and culture of non-violence.
• Providing all types of assistance to all categories of society, with an emphasis on socially vulnerable categories and withthe purpose of improving the quality of life and development of society.
• Assistance in the protection of fundamental human andcivil rights.
• Development and promotion of education for all categories of citizens.

Perfil: All young people from aged between 18 and 30 years with strong motivation, willingness to see and to do something new, curiosity about the world and other cultures.

Tarefas: • assistance in the organization and implementation of various workshops and seminars for citizens that aim to contributeto the promotion and development of environmental awareness, sustainable community development and solidarity;
• independent organization and implementation of workshops with the aim of changing values and behavior andencouraging active participation in the protection of the environment and nature, promotion of volunteering, learningforeign languages, etc.
• implementation of personal projects in accordance with the interests of volunteers;
• assisting in the organization and participation in the implementation of various environmental cleaning actions;
• assistance in organizing local community events (voluntary actions) connected to environmental awareness;
•assistance in writing, applying and implementing smaller local / national project proposals in NEDS field;
• implementing activities in the Eco-toy library of the association;
• assistance in the administration and management of social networks of the association and independent managementand administration of social networks of the project and promotion of project activities (making blog,
making database,make records, work with videos, taking interviews, editing interviews, filming, making and editing videos, uploading oninternet, publishing on webpage, blog etc.);
• actively participate in organization implemented information campaigns in town and schools in other cities, participating in presentations and informing young people about the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+, the opportunities and benefits, as well as promoting European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus + programs and
• administrative tasks related to the project.

Horário: Free days - 2 days per month during the mobility.
Working hours - 6 hours per day, max 30 hours per week.

Condições:
Technical support - Supervision + Weekly meeting in the hosting organization + non-formal education Financial support - Pocket money - (180€ per month) + Food support (180€ per month); For the volunteers to feel more independent a bank account will be created after their arrival. At every month, the volunteer will receive pocked money and food allowance, to arrange their own meals during the project duration.

Accomodation: is provided by hosting organisation.

Trainings : Pre-departure training provided by Sending organisation; On-arrival and mid-term training provided by the Croatian National Agency (accommodation and travel expanses for participation on training is covered by the National Agency);

Language support- EU Academy- online linguistic support to learn Croatian

General learning support- 5 different modules (for volunteers before, during and after activities, etc.), educational materials, descriptions of activities and a manual for their implementation.

European volunteer card- Powered by EYCA and the European Commission, the European Volunteer Card gives young people in European Solidarity Corps (ESC)- funded programmes, access to thousands of discounts and opportunities available in 35+ countries in the youth card network.

Mentoring – Mandatory mentoring session every week, support in learning process, integration into the local community;

Insurance: Volunteers will be registered in Henner Insurance before coming in Croatia. Henner assistance insurance works all the ESC period 24h a day in all the world, starting from the day when the volunteer is going to his project place and 2 more month after the end of the project.
